My name is Celeste Dyer. I’ve been working at Better Hearing Center for 25 years. Yes — 25 years! Boy time does fly by! I’ve been married to a local criminal attorney for sixteen years and we have two children, a girl and a boy. Addison is fifteen and our youngest, Charlie, is twelve. I have six brothers and several sister-in-laws. My dad, Tom, has owned this business for 20 years, so more than half my life I’ve heard about hearing and hearing aid technology. I started here in 1996 as the receptionist. I received my State of Wisconsin Hearing Instrument Specialist license in 2007, but I’ve been repairing hearing aids since ’96. Needless to say, if a hearing aid needs special work or repair, I’m the go-to-girl. I love my job, and I love the company I work for. I have 100% complete faith in the Audibel/Starkey brand and if you ever want a role model, take a look at Bill Austin (the owner of Starkey Hearing Technologies.) He has dedicated the past 60 years to helping people hear and understand better. He won’t rest until everyone has the best hearing they possibly can. It’s his passion, and also the passion of those at Audibel that fuel my love and my own dedication to this wonderful opportunity of helping others hear and understand better. I look forward to helping you on your hearing journey.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Washington State University in Ellensburg, Washington. He has been in the hearing aid industry helping people have a better quality of life through better hearing since 1992, representing several manufacturer brands in that time. Tom is licensed to dispense hearing aids in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Over the years, his business has won various awards, including a Regional Merit Award (one of only five dispensers in the country), and has been a member of Audibel’s Silver Club every year since 2001.
He is proud to represent an American Made Company, Audibel, and he strives for superb customer service and personal attention that you won’t find anywhere else.
Tom enjoys old cars and is a member of a local car club. In addition, he likes doing home improvement projects and traveling with his wife of nearly 40 years, Laura. Tom & Laura have two children and Tom has two stepchildren. Of the four kids, two are involved in the hearing aid business. His biggest gratification? Watching someone’s eyes light up when they first get hearing aids after years of not hearing properly.
After all, “Better Hearing is a Better Life!”
